It's easy to get to this hotel , very close to a train station that provides comfortable trains. the hotel has a magnificent location, directly on the beautiful Traunsee lake. the wellness area is the best, with a sauna that exits directly into the lake and a terrace with a spectacular view. the rooms are well, appointed with extra perks such as a backpack for walks in the mountains and a yoga carpet. the fine dining restaurant, which belongs to the list of 100 best restaurants in Austria is a must, try.

The breakfast menu has limited options and could use a little improvement.

Great location with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding area. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good, offering a variety of options for everyone. We appreciated the complimentary bubbly and fresh fruit upon arrival.

The beds were uncomfortable and the mattresses were thin and poor quality. The lack of soundproofing meant we were constantly disturbed by noise from other guests.

The room itself was a bit underwhelming, lacking some of the amenities and comforts of a higher-starred hotel. the hotel seemed to be lacking in activities and entertainment options, which could make for a boring stay during a longer trip.
